Grundy County Scanner Frequencies

Tuning Grundy Co in IL on pro-164 - The RadioReference.com Forums

Hey Everyone, I just got a pro-164 and have not had a scanner for 5 years. Clearly, things have changed quite a bit. I am trying to tune Grundy County Illinois and realize there are some special things to do for the ne rebanding and shuffle system. Does anyone have the pro-164 that can help? I see other posts for help regarding the uniden but nothing specific to the pro-164. I have programmed the frequencies (i think i have the correct ones) and just a need a little help with whatever else i need to do.. can anyone help? It is greatly appreciated. Thank You. First you have to go to the RadioShack web site and look up your model (164), make sure it has the latest firmware 1.06 to get the "rebanding MENU for entering the tables...The tables are found on the Grundy Co database on this web site...Then you must use the software recommended in the "Wiki" forum ex:Win97 to enter all that info...The freqy's are on the Grundy Co database as mentioned....I do not own the PRO164.... PS: After you get to the Grundy Co Database click on to the Grundy Trunk System, then click on the blue thread to the right on the page "Grundy Co Safety Wiki Page", scroll down and you will see the list of "tables" that must be installed in a RS/GRE scanner...the first set above that is for Uniden scanners....Each line must be installed ...
